Description:

Small version of a cottontail rabbit.

Habitat:

Found in grassy area of Discovery Center, Brazoria National Wildlife Refuge, in the vicinity of coastal marsh and ponds.

Notes:

Spotted at dusk near 8 p.m. Three in area with two standing frozen when I encountered them.
