Field Notes

Description:

A moth about 20mm long. Wings were mostly grey with fine wavy black lines. there were two distinct bands of peach-colour, one near the base of the wings and the other in the submarginal area. The median part of the abdomen was visible- it was a stark white with fine black bands.
Legs had black bands. Antennae swept back. Prominent grey-black eyes. Labial palps were pointing straight out in the front and were covered with grey "fur".

Habitat:

Spotted under bright lights on a building near grounds with eucalytpus and poplar trees.

Notes:

An attractive moth blending quite well with the grey painted wall.
