Description:

looks just like a Red Crossbill but with white bars on the wings in all plumages. make the same keek keek keeek ~ squatty little thing not much of a tail, notched, good natured

Habitat:

Boreal pine forests of upper Canada and lower Arctic ~ she is a long ways from the beaten paths of WWCB's but happy to Eat the FREE FOOD ! with her cousins the RCB's

Notes:

did not see today 5/1/13 but all last week she was hangin out
