Let's go with the Tyler's Tree frog. It is more similar to this one.
They're very similar! Yeah the Peron's has both the yellow and black, as you can see by this spotting, http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/15262014. However the Tyler's has only the yellow, with perhaps very faint brown as seen here http://www.ozanimals.com/Frog/Laughing-Treefrog/Litoria/tyleri.html
Did mean Peron's not Pearson's sometimes my typing gets away on me!! The Peron's that I looked at seemed to have the yellow too.
The Peron's (Litoria peroni) and the tyler's tree frog (Litoria tyleri) Both have the cross shape pupil. As far as i know theTyler's lacks the black marbling that the Peron's has, but the Tyler's does have the yellow.
Sorry, Alice, No eye shots. Will have to go back to Nyngan this holiday to have a look.
I was just looking and the eyes would say if it was a Pearsons Tree Frog wouldn't it Alice? I'll check back on my photos.
I tried to find an ID Kerry, but no luck. I'm just not sure. Here's a link to frogs of Central NSW if you want to have a go...?! http://frogs.org.au/frogs/ofNSW/Central
