Field Notes

Description:

They have a dark background color with three yellow lines on each side of the dorsal stripe down the center of the back. This is the drabbest colored one I have ever seen, they normally have a dark black back with bright yellow stripes. My guess would be this is a female.

Habitat:

Found in various habitats throughout western North America. This guy was found in some leaf litter.
