Field Notes

Description:

Purple flower
Long, about three feet vertically
Flowers are covered with mosquitos ( or insect of unknown species)
Steam "rods" that make up the flowers are very sturdy and strong but blow in the wind quite easily

Habitat:

Many individual species bunches together
not under shade
sun light direct
Each "bush" of the species has a range of 8-10 of the purple flower "Rods"
- soil underneath bush is VERY dry
