Your spotting has been nominated for the Spotting of the Week. The winner will be chosen by the Project Noah Rangers based on a combination of factors including: uniqueness of the shot, status of the organism (for example, rare or endangered), quality of the information provided in the habitat and description sections. There is a subjective element, of course; the spotting with the highest number of Ranger votes is chosen. Congratulations on being nominated!
Thanks, @Daniele for correcting. Will update the description accordingly :D
On a side note Callirhipidae (which used to be treated in Rhipiceridae) are known as cedar beetles: https://link.springer.com/referenceworkentry/10.1007%2F978-1-4020-6359-6_458 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Byrrhoidea http://bugguide.net/node/view/96011 I'm not sure where the phonetic mistake to cider or cidar originated from but it has propagated to various sites including PN.
