Field Notes

Habitat:

Long-tailed shrikes ar fairly common in the sub-urban to rural parts of the Philippines where they are commonly called as "tarat".

Notes:

Long-tailed shrikes have been nesting in a huge tamarind tree behind our house in San Pedro, Laguna, Philippines. There are more shrikes in my hometown other than this one.
