Field Notes

Habitat:

Found on a walkway by our back door. Near a Black Cherry tree which is one of its larval foods.

Notes:

Larva starts eating from the end of a leaf leaving the midrib. It then coats the midrib with scraps of leaves and frass. And stays there when it's not feeding.
