Description:

Is a distinct grass plant which grows roughly 3 feet tall, and indefinitely wide. It earned its name from the creamy white ribbons that run down its otherwise green foliage.

Habitat:

It is a hearty plant that thrives in most conditions. It is reported as an invasive plant species in many wetlands and floodplains; with a wide distribution in Europe, Asia, North Africa, and North America.

Notes:

Its leaves are broad, thin, and quite sharp. (ouch)
