Field Notes

Description:

A large mottled brown, hairless caterpillar with a distinctive curly tail covered in bumps. Vertical stripes on the head. Length 4.5”

Habitat:

Adjacent to a small stream. Altitude 1000m.

Notes:

I found this caterpillar a year ago on the same vine. Managed to find an ID this time around.
