Field Notes

Description:

I have a lot of hawk sightings in this particular location and I'm not sure how many times I am seeing the same bird or birds. This picture was about 20 minutes before this one http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/23056017 and I'm pretty sure they are the same bird, though I got distracted by some other hawks nearby (it was a great day for hawk spotting!) and didn't see the kill happen.

Notes:

Spotted on power pole #47 next to a mining operation in Kennesaw, GA.
