Description:
Prostrate. Stems creeping and rooting at lower nodes, tips may point upward. Stems branching, hairless to rough hairy. Leaves on stems at rooted nodes are erect. Leaf divided into 3 leaflets, dark green lightly spotted with white, covered with short white hairs. Inflorescence consists of several flowers at ends of long erect stems. Flowers large, with 5 petals or possibly doubled, deep yellow. An invasive European weed in wet soils, waste areas, lawns, agricultural fields.
