Description:
This small brown weevil was about 6 mm long. Head, thorax and abdomen were elongated with a rostrum pointing straight out between beaded antennae. The thorax was was thicker posteriorly giving it an elongated pear shape. A shallow groove ran through the length of it. Elytra were grooved with an ill-defined black patch near the middle of each inner margin.
Habitat:
Spotted at dusk on a spotted gum ( E. maculata)
Notes:
I am not able to find much information on this genus, except to say that there are a few species.
