Description:
Pickerel frogs are similar to Leopard frogs, but are distinguished by having rectangular blotches versus the leopard frogs circular blotches. Also, the dorsolateral folds are unbroked on pickerel frogs, and broken on leopard frogs.
Habitat:
Found in the eastern US near freshwater. This guy was found next to a pond at night.
