Ranging from a few centimeters to about two feet high

Growing near a rotten log in a pine forest in northwest Florida, zone 8a. Pictures taken March 30,2014

Smaller ones curl, taller ones stand erect

I've walked a few miles back in this area and this is the only batch I found

Habitat:

Pine forest northwest Florida
