Description:

Larger than a Mallard but a bit smaller than a goose this colourful duck has a red bill, pink legs, dark green head and neck and chestnut belly stripes. Breeds and winters in Uk but is listed as an Amber status by the RSPB.

Habitat:

seen at Rutland water nature reserve.
