Description:

Small green butterfly, with a characteristic green colour in the wings and white marks around the eyes, from what it gets the Spanish name (cejialba). The wingspan is between 24-30 mm. It is one of the first butterflies flying in this region, at the end of the winter. It inhabits dry and arid areas. The caterpilars feed on bramble and legumes.

It inhabits dry and arid areas. Spotted in mediterranean forest with dispersed Holm oaks
