Description:

In a water basin there was a small twig with several insects using it as a life raft. I pulled it out from the water and found this beetle among others insects.
About 5 mm.

Habitat:

Semi desert.

This is one of the very few spp. of Scymnus that can be identified from a dorsal photo alone. The long, narrow triangular dark area on a light brown background is very distinctive.
