Field Notes

Description:

On May 4th they were approximately 5-6 mm long.
On May 30th they were approximately 2.5 cm or an inch long. These caterpillars look a lot like tussock caterpillars. But I do not know the species.

Notes:

I found upwards of 30 or 40 of these caterpillars altogether. These caterpillars seem to work as a team. I now have all of them in a cage.
