Description:

Members of the Carp family, these are free living but fed by park visitors. Many of these are up to half a metre or more long.
Refer to the reference file for details of their heritage, there are ongoing studies of the Cyprinus species following domestication.

Habitat:

Ponds and river in mixed woodland country park.

Thanks Janet, there does seem to be some doubt about whether they are domesticated from Cyprinus carpio or Cyprinus rubrofuscus or a mix of both.
