Description:

Grows in eastern us. Can grow to 11 meters in height. Has scaly reddish brown bark and pure white scented flowers grow in clusters in late may while leaves are still immature

Habitat:

Upland wood and streams in most soils

Notes:

blooms in late spring deciduous large shrub or small tree that grows slowly the flowers bloom in beautiful white clusters while leaves are still mature. tree can grow to a height of eleven meters has tough scaly reddish bark
