Field Notes

Description:

pointed black crest, white cheeks, brown back, reddish under tail coverts and a long white-tipped tail.

Habitat:

A regular visitor to my yard. This one was high up in one of my trees. I often see them eating berries on trees in the yard

Notes:

This bird is native to Southern Asia, and was first introduced to the Sydney area in the 1880's
