The cone was found behind my home in the woods a little ways from me. You can clearly indicate the seeds on the outside of the cone and it is believed that the cone is male because of its size. The gymnosperms are a group of seed-producing plants that includes conifers, cycads, Ginkgo, and Gnetales.
