looks like some white fungus growing out of this assassin bug

Habitat:

tropical rainforest

Notes:

I spotted this in Tawau Hills Park.

Actually no idea, but symmetrical patterns are usually not fungi. Looks for me like the normal, maybe little worn clothes...

Yeah, I was thinking the white on the thorax may be a fungus. Seems like I've spotted a lot of bugs infested with it on this trip.

The oval white marks are it's natural patterns but I am not sure about the large white area on it's thorax. I have a spotting of this species several months ago with the same marks at the abdomen except for the large white area on it's thorax.
