Description:

PInk stuff in the water at Lime Bay nature reserve Tasmania. Really want to know what this is or what has caused it. Is it some type of Algae?

Well even without ID it's still interesting spotting, thanks for sharing it with us. :)
Thanks Atanas and Jemma. I thought it was a long shot that i would get an ID from this photo but at least there's some possibles!!
lori tas has a similar spotting.
Maybe some kind from Pyrrophyra/Dinophyta, but there are a lot of algaе that hide their pigments with another, and its impossible to be identified from so far and without a microscope.
