Tropical and subtropical forests of Peru, but can be found in many gardens in warm, moist climates.
Notes:
The specimen is located at the Tulsa Zoo and Living Museum, Tulsa, Oklahoma.
-- The ants seen in the photograph appear to be members of the genius Monomorium. (Monomorium minimum?)
