Field Notes

Description:

Purple fungus that was bowl-shaped. So tiny you could barely see them, see photo 5 for scale. There was also some Tremella mesenterica and Peniophora growing on some other logs.

Habitat:

On some cut Sitka Spruce logs in firewood pile a residential area. These logs had probably been sitting close to a year.
