Field Notes

Description:

Long ears, short tail, hops and is a vegetarian

Habitat:

We see him frequently under the white pines on the border of our backyard. Assume he may have a nest near-by as he was frolicking with another rabbit one evening. He was around all winter.

Notes:

He is larger than the rabbits we had in Florida and that is due to the climate. I once put a piece of lettuce in the snow for him.
