Description:

This is a deceased black rat snake. Cause of death unknown. It is relatively 3 to 3 and a half feet long.

Habitat:

This looks like its natural habitat; however, it is in a wildlife preserve (monitored by humans) so it is not one hundred percent natural. This particular habitat is in Goose Creek State Park near Washington, NC.
