Field Notes
Description:
Where the male is solid glossy black white wing patches, the female is a dark grey with light grey patches on the wings. Her eyes will still be the dark red. Long tail and crest on the head.
Like Mockingbirds they can mimic other bird calls.
Habitat:
These birds live and breed in two different habitats depending on the season. Winters in the desert and summers in the woodlands.
