Field Notes

Description:

A common, medium-sized north american bird. Blue with gray and white underside. The wing and tail feathers are a brighter blue. They have a black collar around the neck. Blue jays have many very different and distinct calls, and will eat a variety of different foods.

Notes:

The local jays were out picking up pieces of dog kibble and corn that our animals didn't eat. They're shy, but will come right up to the windows if they think no one is there.
