Field Notes

Description:

This 4 cm damselfly was on the hunt for some small insects.

Habitat:

Close to Mbuluzi river, meadowland sorrunded by mixed forest.

On second thoughts, this one might be the Acacia Sprite (Pseudagrion acaciae), based on the back of the eyes being greenish, not orange/red. http://www.warwicktarboton.co.za/dfpgs/025acaciae.html I have photos of what probably is the same one, waiting for ID, so I will confirm this when the ID comes through.
