Kissing bug?????

Field Notes
Description:
This insects was large, about ¾ to a little over one inch in length and was dark brown or black in color with orange and black markings.
It looks a lot like the Kissing bug except the head is not as elongated and the antennae come out of a different spot. (Kissing bugs have antennae that arise halfway between the eyes and the end of the snout. They are also called cone-nosed bugs because their snouts before the beak are quite long.)
Habitat:
In our backyard in Windwardside, Saba, Dutch Caribbean. Near volcano and ocean.
Notes:
I thought this was a kissing bug. When I spoke to the Dr on the Island ( and a friend that works at pest control ) they were sure that the island does not have any Chakra bugs. They had seen these around a lot. Now while trying to ID this bug I doubt if it is a kissing bug as the head is very different, more like the head of a stinkbug.
