Description:
These are large stout flycatchers with russet wings above and yellow below. The face has a black mask covering the eyes with a white eyebrow, black crest and white throat patch. A very eye-catching combination.
Habitat:
The Great Kiskadee is found only in thorn-brush country and riverine forests in south Texas. It is widespread, however, through Mexico, Central America, and South America.
