Wandering Percher
Diplacodes bipunctata
-17.2053, 146.075
Field Notes
Description:
The surface of this dragonfly’s wings are covered in nano-spikes, spikes so small they can pierce the cells of bacteria and as the dragonfly flies through the sky it shreds bacteria to pieces, purifying the air it flies through.
This particular dragonfly travels in large groups, arriving like gypsys, chasing each other around, and although imperceptible, making the place they left behind a little better
