Field Notes

Description:

Parents and two babes, keeping their distance. They would stand completely still but if we got too close for comfort they would move stealth-style with babies following. Babies were approx 15-17cm tall. The eggs took about 3 months to hatch.

Habitat:

Open grassland at James Cook University, Cairns QLD
