Field Notes

Description:

A small fast and brightly coloured butterfly about 18mm body length. Searching for golf balls.

Habitat:

In long grasses near a dry swamp at a local nature reserve.

Notes:

The adults are very fond of golf balls. <br>
The species is easily confused with the Common Dart. <br>
