Field Notes

Description:

Small sparrowlike birds approximately 6". Brown feathers with some white patterned throughout. White eye stripe. Tail is short and rounded.

Habitat:

Seen at Wakadohatchee Wetlands Preservation Area.

Notes:

This appeared to be a flock of these little birds. They landed on the leaves of the water lily plants. They all landed together; they all took flight together.
