Squirrel Tree Frogs are best distinguished from Greens by their lack of yellow spots on the back. Greens will have at least a few yellow spots, but Squirrels don't have any. Another not so great character to look at is the thick white stripe on the lip. Usually in Greens in goes at least to the thigh, and in Squirrels in barely goes past the lip. However, not all Greens and Squirrels even have the white stripe.

Wasn't positive and have never seen Squirrel tree frogs in Wake County. What are you seeing on him to say Squirrel? Thanks
