Field Notes

Description:

Fairly tall, arching stem with oval shaped leaves. Straight veins. Greenish flowers (maturing to white) produced dangling below the stem in groups of two or more. Lily Family.

Habitat:

Growing in a wooded "in-between" area in the Bronx Zoo.

Notes:

Considered weedy or invasive in some areas.
