Description:

They are large flesh fly that has grey and black stripes with a red tail at the end of the abdomen. This species as the name applies eats rotting meat and fruits.

Habitat:

Semi-urban, Fort Worth, Texas.

Sarcophaga haemorrhoidalis is a common species of flesh fly that appear worldwide in distribution and is commonly found in the United States.
