Field Notes

Description:

Red on head, chest and lower back. Brown wings with stripes. Triangular beak that handles seeds easily.

Habitat:

It likes our pine trees, but adjusts easily to many areas. Has a cheerful song.

Notes:

It is enjoying the new feeder I got towards the end of our winter.
