Description:

20mm in length

Red - Red/brown body and legs

Cream/beige abdomen the size, shape and colour of a baked bean

Found within a silk tube in the daytime

Habitat:

Under rocks, logs, and within damp buildings where wood lice live.

Notes:

Hunts at night running down wood lice with unusually large fangs to pierce through the tough wood louse armour.
