Description:

Family: Papilionidae (Swallowtails) Wingspan: 4 inches (Although range is 3 - 5.5. inches) Light yellow with black tiger markings. Iridescent blue and red spots on bottom of wing indicating female.

Habitat:

Open woodlands and meadow near large lake.
