Field Notes

Description:

The lower part the antenna is red and the rest is black. The shield behind the head is red with a black center spot. The inner legs are red and the rest is black. The black coverwings cover the entire rear body.wich is red.

Habitat:

Areas with tall grasses, and in open woodland. It is a predator and hunts mainly on flowers.

Notes:

Norwegian name: Bløtvinge
