Description:

Euprymna is a genus of bobtail squid comprising around ten species.

This one is the smaller among the Bobtail squid family, less than 1 cm in size.

Nocturnal creatures, they come out at night to feed among tiny shrimps and krills.

Habitat:

Shallow waters among sandy and sea grass bottom.

Notes:

Due to its tiny size, often mistaken as baby/juveniles of Squids or Cuttlefish, but this pair of less than 1 cm is already adult as can be seen here, mating.
