Red-brown beetle about 14 mm long with bulbous, square thorax and long abdomen. The elytra are pitted. Aka Western Twig Borer

Habitat:

Under porch light at night in the backyard

It was about 14 mm long so not as long as the common click beetles we have but it definitely stood out.

This looks like a Bostrichidae - a Branch and Twig Borrer.
