Description:

A male Pickerel frog calling at the edge of a large pond. The first picture shows expanded vocal sacs while calling, the second shows normal appearance for comparison.

Habitat:

Edge of large freshwater pond,

Notes:

Dozens of other Pickerel Frogs calling, as well as a few Southern Leopard Frogs and Spring Peepers in the distance.
