Field Notes

Description:

Small blue birds with an orange chest and white underside. Females are slightly more dull in color. This pair returns every year and raises a few clutches in our willow tree. They are extremely hard to get good photos of, as they fly away when you get too close. Second photo is a parent feeding a fledgling.
